Probably the most critical issue in the human experience is that of government. In other words, Who makes the rules by which we are to conduct our lives? We recently read a piece, Democracy or Republic, Which Is It? by Benedict LaRosa. It led us, once again, to focus on the issue of “government.” Most Americans today, having been subject to at least twelve years of political indoctrination in the American “education” system, pride themselves on the fact that they live in a “democracy.” Having never been taught to think for themselves, to ask serious questions, define terms, search for true, documented answers that make sense in today’s topsy-turvy, upside down world, they have been led to assume that our present so-called democracy is the best they can expect in life. Deprived of a knowledge and understanding of real American history while making their arduous trip through our alleged “education” system, most find themselves suffering from the affects of that deliberately induced ignorance. They are victims of their own collective ignorance, and are left groping futilely for answers as to why the “American Dream” is fast turning into a nightmare. They are oblivious of the fact that the form of government that served to make America a giant among the “pygmy” nations of the world has been subverted and replaced by one completely foreign to their own best interests and future well being. Their slavish pride in living in a “democracy” — a system of government strongly defended by so many of our political leaders — must give great pleasure to our enemies.
“TURBULENCE AND FOLLIES”
True history reveals that our founding fathers despised the idea that the United States would be established as a democracy. In describing the purpose of the Continental Convention of 1787, Virginia delegate Edmund Randolph — who later became governor of the state and, in 1794, United States secretary of state — declared: “The general object was to provide a cure for the evil under which the United States labored; every man had found it in the turbulence and follies of democracy.”
Some years after the Declaration of Independence, John Adams warned: “Remember, democracy never lasts. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy that did not commit suicide.” A little later, John Marshal, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, observed: “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.” In a quote attributed to Professor Alexander Tyler we find an explanation: “A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.” James Madison elaborated: “In a pure democracy, there is nothing to check the inducement to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual. Hence it is that such democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
These truths were firmly established in the minds of the delegates who attended the Constitutional Convention in 1787. At the end of the Convention one lady questioned Benjamin Franklin, “Well, doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it!”
The fact that the United States was established as a Republic and not a democracy was common knowledge for more than 150 years of our nation’s history.
POLITICAL REVOLUTION
The first two decades of the twentieth century witnessed the beginning of a political revolution that turned America upside down. Rejecting the advice of our first president, George Washington (that “a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes to Republican government... The great rule of conduct in regard to foreign nations is ... to have with them as little political contact as possible. It is our clear policy to steer clear of permanent alliance with any part of the foreign world”), the United States was lured into the first World War in 1917, with 116,000 casualties. During that period, in which Woodrow Wilson signed into law two planks from the Communist Manifesto (#2 and #5), the American public were told, for the first time, that they were fighting to save the world for democracy.
1928 ARMY MANUAL: DEFINING TERMS
Interestingly, the idea of the United States having become a “democracy” seemed to escape the attention of the top military brass. In 1928, the War Department in Washington issued a document (Soldiers Training Manual, TM 2000-25) in which they defined the two terms — Democracy and Republic.
Democracy: “A government of the masses. Authority is derived through mass meetings or any other form of direct expression. Results in mobocracy. Attitude toward property is communistic, negating property rights. Attitude toward law is that the will of the people will regulate, whether it is based upon deliberation, or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. Results in demagoguery, license, agitation, discount, and anarchy.”
Republic: “Authority is derived through election by the people of public officials best fitted to represent them. Attitude toward property is respect for laws and individual rights, and a sensible economic procedure. Attitude toward law is the administration of justice in accord with fixed principles, and established evidence, with a strict regard to consequences. A greater number of citizens and extent of territory may be brought within its compass. Avoids the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy. Results in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment, and progress.”
In the light of the above definitions, it can be clearly seen why the United States — as a Republic — prospered as it did and quickly became the greatest nation on earth. The “fixed principles ... with a strict regard to consequences” upon which our Republic was founded were firmly based on biblical law and thus “result[ed] in statesmanship, liberty, reason, justice, contentment, and progress.” It can also be seen why the United States — as a result of having abandoned such a biblically-based form of government and having embraced the diabolical idiocy of “democracy” — has degenerated into a “government of the [politically manipulated] masses” and has thus “result[ed] in a mobocracy” in which “the attitude toward property is communistic, negating property rights.” The “attitude toward law is that the will of the [politically-manipulated] people will regulate ... governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. Results in demagoguery, license, agitation, discount, and anarchy.”
No wonder our “democracy” has a national debt of $11,000,000,000,000, and has developed unpayable long-term debt obligations estimated at $75,000,000,000,000. Reviewing the statements by our founding fathers quoted earlier regarding the devastating affects of “democracy,” we can appreciate their firm grasp of political and financial reality.
In recent decades, under the treacherous “leadership” of the oath-breaking charlatans who infest Capitol Hill and state capitols nationwide, our original biblically-based Republic has been subverted, turned upside down, and destroyed. Originally, the governmental line of authority was clearly defined: At the top was, (1) The ultimate authority, the Creator God; (2) Man whom God had created; (3) The Constitution, The Supreme Law of the Land, created by man; (4) Civil government created under the authority of the Constitution, and (5) Public servants created by the civil government.
Under the current man-made Democracy (man makes the rules) God and his laws have been removed from the governmental picture. The Constitution, though paid lip-service to, is basically ignored, and civil government has replaced God as the ultimate authority — the entity that makes and enforces the rules. Mankind, as a whole, has thus been reduced to the role of docile servant. In other words, welcome to the Brave New World.
As Aldous Huxley wrote on chapter 2 of that famous novel, “These are unpleasant facts; I know it. But then, historical facts are unpleasant.”
SWINE FLU PANDEMIC?
On April 30 the World Health Organization (WHO) raised the “swine flu” epidemic level from 4 to 5, signifying that a pandemic was imminent. They urged countries around the world to immediately implement their pandemic plans. The scare dominated network news programs. Ominous headlines appeared in newspapers and magazines around the globe. These raised in the minds of multiple millions the probability of a repetition of the killer flu epidemic of 1918-19 which killed more people than the first World War (1914-18). The estimated global death toll was somewhere between 20 and 40 million people. It has been cited as the most devastating epidemic in recorded world history. More people died of influenza in a single year than in four years of the Black Death Bubonic Plague from 1347-1351. Known as “Spanish Flu,” the influenza of 1918-19 was a global disaster.
As recorded in the Journal of the American Medical Association (12/28/1918), “1918 has gone: a year momentous as the termination of the most cruel war in the annals of the human race; a year which marked, the end at least for a time, of man’s destruction of man; unfortunately a year in which developed a most fatal infectious disease causing the death of hundreds of thousands of human beings. Medical science for four and one-half years devoted itself to putting men on the firing line and keeping them there. Now it must turn with its whole might to combating the greatest enemy of all — infectious disease.”
Recent headlines screamed about the potential of a repetition (or worse!) of the earlier disaster. As an officially generated wave of fear and speculation swept around the globe, untold millions rushed to purchase protective masks to shield themselves from the latest deadly threat. They crowded doctor’s offices and hospital emergency rooms in a mad rush to be injected with previously stockpiled “flu vaccine.” In the mass media, medical “experts” dutifully regurgitated the “official” propaganda received from the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The general consensus was obviously that “these people are from the government. They are here to serve and protect us.” “Obviously,” there couldn’t be any ulterior motive, could there?
DR. LORRAINE DAY
One medical expert who doesn’t “buy” such assumed “logic” is Dr. Lorraine Day, the former chief of Orthopedic Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Day is well-known for having cured herself of rampant cancer through the use of “natural methods” as opposed to chemotherapy and other methods commonly employed in hospitals and cancer centers.
Dr. Day declares: “Swine Flu is a hoax. The symptoms of supposed swine flu are indistinguishable from regular flu or the common cold. It does not cause death any more often than regular flu causes death. There is no ‘pandemic potential’ except in the minds of the evil new world order tyrants.
“Why are they doing this? (1) Control of the population: terror, giving up one’s rights; (2) Further destruction of the economy by the enormous fraudulent ‘costs’ that will be claimed to ‘control’ the epidemic; (3) The figures being reported as ‘swine flu’ are outright lies. They will say in the headlines (for example) that ‘60 people die of swine flu,’ but when you read the text of the article you will see it is not 60. In fact, only 12 have been documented and they don’t even say how they were ‘documented’; (4) The various media groups (TV, newspapers, magazines) are controlled by the same group that is in charge of this “Swine Flu” Phy/Op. They are partners in the lies; (5) The pharmaceutical companies, that will reap huge monetary benefits from this hoax, are part of the same cabal. Baxter International, the corrupt pharmaceutical company that was recently caught red-handed sending vaccines contaminated with Bird Flu to 18 countries, has apparently been ‘chosen’ to make a vaccine for ‘Swine Flu’; (6) This ‘Swine Flu’ virus is undoubtedly another manmade virus — a hybrid of part swine flu, part human flu, and part bird flu. Something like that can only come from a laboratory.”
Dr. Day also said that the CDC needed to move their stockpiles of the flu drug Tamiflu which didn’t make it to the masses during the last panic, which was the ‘bird flu.’ Several hundred deaths do not make a pandemic. Worldwide, up to 500,000 die annually of various flu viruses. As one commentator observed, we are all exposed to flu bugs, but if we keep our immune system strong we have little to worry about. The only “swine” involved here are those who are trying to keep us in fear.
For your own safety — and that of your family and friends, not to mention your own country — remember the sage advice of H.L. Mencken, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the population alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.”
INCONVENIENT TRUTH
All of the above is, to most people, “inconvenient truth.” Their socially-lobotomized heads have been programmed from birth to automatically reject and spit out any information that doesn’t conform with the lies that have been so carefully and painstakingly planted in their minds. In their officially-induced trance, they have fallen prey to the “change agents” and “social engineers” that dominate today’s social scene. As creatures — and victims — of the God-rejecting, democratic brainwashing system (euphemistically called “education”), they are “metallurgically challenged.” Most are thus unable to distinguish between political “gold’ and political “dross.” Their minds have been programmed to automatically choose political “dross” every time. Like robots, they make these decisions automatically — not realizing they do so at their own peril.
On a personal level, we need to recognize that sometimes we have to be brought to our knees before we are willing to open our eyes and ears. For the United States, as a nation, will that “eye-opening” experience come too late? Then again, how about you personally?
In closing, we need to remember that, as Dr. Stuart Crane has so unerringly stated: “Truth is an accurate representation of the subject under consideration, (1) As it relates to all other things; (2) As it always has been in the past; (3) As it universally holds in the present, and (4) Shall hold without exception in the future. Error is not the opposite of truth. Error is anything except truth. If there are any exceptions, it is error.”
