 Dear Friends:
A belated “HAPPY NEW YEAR” to all our readers. We trust that you are starting 2010 with a strong desire to reach an ever-deepening knowledge and understanding of the topsy-turvy world in which we live. Such an ongoing search will, we believe, pay major dividends in the months and years immediately ahead. We should all be keenly aware that powerful spiritual, financial, and political forces are working 24/7 to reduce the once great American Republic to the status of a third world nation — the “feudal” plantation predicted in 1966 by Bill Clinton’s mentor Professor Carroll Quigley in Tragedy and Hope, p.324. They and their slavish subordinates in academia and the media are doing everything in their power to prevent the American sheeple from waking up to a realization of what has been planned for their future.
Each year they pour untold millions of dollars into promoting schemes and programs allegedly designed to give the American people more “freedoms” and “security.” Most are, in reality, created to still further distract, mislead and thus progressively enslave the increasingly fatuous, dumbed-down and mesmerized millions. These also automatically place ever-increasing amounts of power in the hands of the political leaders in Washington. From their perspective, the American public must be prevented from waking up to what is actually unfolding on the national and international scenes. Each such distraction — much like the famous “bread and circuses” employed in ancient Rome — is used as a political sleight-of-hand to temporarily pacify the milling masses so that they won’t “wise up” until it’s too late and the ultimate trap is sprung. Those in charge of the political machines (both “Democrat” and “Republican”) appear to wholeheartedly embrace H.L. Mencken’s famous adage, “No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.”
Unless we keep abreast of and understand what is actually happening, we can so easily be overwhelmed and overcome by irrelevancies — thus becoming a burden to ourselves and those around us. To be honest, we must always seek and acknowledge the truth, that always, that to the very end. That realization led to my writing Fourth Reich and Descent Into Slavery? From a biblical perspective, it was also my reason for writing Storming the Gates of Hell and God’s Chosen People. My search for more truth continues unabated.
NEVER OPENLY DISCUSSED
Naturally, America’s real problems and their causes are never openly discussed. If they were, the people would wake up, and the devilish plans of the globalists would be exposed and thwarted. They would collapse, thus enabling the United States to regain its former freedom and wealth. Take for example the current Financial Crisis Commission hearings on the causes of the economic meltdown on Wall Street. It is being compared to the Pecora Commission that was launched in 1932 to investigate the Crash of 1929. As was the case in the former “investigation,” we may expect the new one to reach the same conclusion — that the “answer” to every problem is more laws and government regulations. As Congressman Ron Paul pointed on January 19: “Of course, none of those [1932] laws addressed the real causes of the Great Depression. It was the introduction of unsound monetary policy and central economic planning, pursued by the [privately-owned] Federal Reserve that really threw everything off balance.
“The Pecora Commission was stacked with big government sympathizers who blamed the free market and the gold standard without question, and without any consideration of government interference in the economy. This panel is no different. Neither will they contemplate how government steered us into this crisis, and what perverse incentives can be removed or repealed so that the market will function more smoothly. Never will they discuss how investment should come from savings not debt. Never will it occur to them that fiat money, artificially low interest rates and the whole Federal Reserve System might be unwise and unstable, not to mention unconstitutional. The ‘answer’ will always be more government regulation and oversight. It is predictable that this government panel will eventually come to the firm conclusion that government needs to be bigger, and that the market is just too free.
“How sad is this when actually the opposite is true?
“It is big government that gives out tax breaks to engineer behavior, often creating large pockets of malinvestments... that gives bureaucrats the ability to bail out cronies with taxpayer dollars while screaming that the economic sky will fall if they don’t. It is big government that every year adds new layers to the already labyrinthine regulatory code that smaller businesses can’t keep up with while simultaneously preventing new businesses from emerging. It is big business that misdirects economic productivity into bankrupt businesses that they consider to be too big to fail.
“If this panel is serious about understanding the root of the problem, as they claim to be, they would have people testify who understand the crisis and saw it coming. To my knowledge, none of them have received a phone call. The problem is those people would say too many things the government panel would find inconvenient. They would point fingers at too many of the State’s anointed. They would recommend getting the government out of the way of the free market and getting back to simply protecting contracts and punishing fraud. But the biggest fraud is perpetrated by the Federal Reserve...”
OPENNESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY
Obviously, to have a free, prosperous, law-abiding nation — like the United States used to be — we need openness and accountability at every level of government. These sterling qualities have been totally absent from American politics in recent decades.
Multiple millions of sincere Americans were lured — during the 2008 presidential campaign — into thinking that by putting Barack Hussein Obama in the Oval Office, they would witness a political renascence, a return to some form of political and financial sanity. After all, didn’t BO promise “change ... change ... change.” That was obviously what was needed. It was naively assumed by these deluded, unreasoning, and politically guileless individuals that the “change ... Yes we can” Obama promised so eloquently and so repeatedly, was a real change from the “politics-as-usual” that had dominated the American scene since the 1930s. Gullibly, they hoped that the much lauded “community organizer” could help reorganize American society along lines that would benefit the nation. Hope dwells eternal! Of course, anyone who had taken more than a cursory glance at Mr. Obama’s exceedingly shallow “political track record,” would have had major questions as to how that “change” would manifest itself if he were to occupy the Oval Office. The realists, having done their homework instead of allowing themselves to be swept along on a wave of manufactured euphoria, were not jumping with joy in eager anticipation of an Obama presidency. Change was obviously needed, but Obama adamantly refused to define the “changes” he had in mind to implement.
Obama watchers knew of his close association with leftist radicals, his unremitting leftist voting record in the Illinois Senate, and later during his brief stay in the United States Senate. They knew of the countless millions of dollars of free publicity he received during his meteoric rise to national prominence. Those things don’t happen by “accident.” They knew Obama’s political career had been scripted and stage-managed — and his deceptive “image” honed and polished — from day one. They knew that Obama’s true mentors were carefully hidden from view by the bought-and-paid-for Establishment media. In addition, Obama’s evasive rhetoric and his unremitting promises of undefined “change” sounded a warning that made them cringe at the prospect of his becoming America’s leader.
Following the unprecedented ballyhoo surrounding his January 20, 2009, inauguration (by far the most expensive in history) America’s new Commander-in-Chief made an unqualified promise to the American people. A Memorandum of Transparency appeared on the homepage of the White House website: “My Administration is dedicated to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen ... and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.
“Government should be transparent. Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing. Information maintained by the Federal Government is an national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action ... to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should offer Americans new opportunities to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. [They] should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public...
“Government should be participatory. Public engagement enhances the Government’s effectiveness and improves the quality of its decisions. Knowledge is widely dispersed in society, and public officials benefit from having access to that dispersed knowledge. Executive departments and agencies should offer Americans increased opportunities to participate in policymaking and to provide their Government with their collective expertise and information. [They should] also solicit public input on how we can increase and improve opportunities for public participation in Government....
“This memorandum shall be published in the Federal Register. BARACK OBAMA”
OBAMACARE
Almost immediately after President Obama entered the Oval Office, the issue of health care (or “Obamacare”) rose to the forefront of his political agenda. Earlier, he had made a public commitment on the subject: “When we are negotiating [for the Health Care plan], we are going to have C-SPAN on and you will see who is compromising the American people’s interests. This will all be televised on C-SPAN... I’m going to do it on C-SPAN. On C-SPAN.”
He further elaborated: We won’t be “negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together, and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are, because we must enroll the American people in the process.”
“I respect what the Clintons did in 1993 in moving health care reform forward. But they made one really big mistake. And that is they took all their people, all their experts into a room and closed the door. We will work on the process publicly. It will be on C-SPAN. It will be streaming over the Net.”
What a difference a year can make! All the glowing promises of unprecedented “openness” and “transparency” have long since been exposed as blatant political cant — plain lies! Each campaign promise of real change has vanished down Big Brother Obama’s “memory hole,” ala 1984. “Change” was just a cheap campaign slogan pawned off on a gullible electorate. If anything, the Obama/Biden/Pelosi/ Reid team has done more than any previous administration to deceive and mislead the American people on, among many other issues, the subject of “health care.”
They had no intention of making the American public aware of the details of their nefarious, Socialist “health care” plan. Control is the name of their game. They wanted to keep its contents strictly under wraps before springing it on the nation. Thankfully, all the Republican members of Congress and some Democrats smelled a rat and, with strong public support, opposed it. One of the results was the loss of the late Ted Kennedy’s “safe” Senate seat in Massachusetts! Eventually, many of the plan’s sordid details began to become public. No wonder the political charlatans wanted to keep them secret. Here are just a few details: P.22: The government will audit the books of all employees who self-insure. P.29: Health care rationing. You can only received so much “care” per year. $5,000 per single person. $10,000 for a family. P.30, section 123: There will be a government committee to decide what treatment and benefits you receive. P.42: The health care committee will choose your benefits for you. You will have no choice. P.50: Health care will be provided to all non-U.S. citizens, illegal or otherwise. P.58: The government will choose real time access to individual services, and a National ID card will be issued. P.59:The government will have direct access to your bank account for elective fund transfer. P.91: The government mandates “linguistic appropriate” services ... translations for all illegal aliens. P.126: Employers must pay for healthcare for part-time employees. P.127: Doctors and the AMA. The government will tell you how much you can make every year. P.145: All employers must enroll employees in government health plan. No exceptions....
Space restricts the listing of many more such declarations (in this clandestine plan of the Democrats) that illustrate their insatiable lust for control over every aspect of American life. They want to control everything and everybody except themselves. Thess creatures have a monumental ID problem. In their gigantic lust for control (and to establish themselves ‘as god’ — see Genesis 3:5), they have for the last 78 years (since FDR!) engaged in a never-ending, ever-expanding campaign of deception. They are dedicated to the destruction of every last vestige of the Biblical principles upon which the American Republic was based.
Obama’s nomination of Chai Feldblum, the lesbian daughter of a Jewish rabbi, to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission illustrates the point. Feldblum, a Georgetown University professor, aims to change “the American workplace and revolutionize [America’s] social mores.” “This is a war that needs to be fought ... right here at home where we need to convince people that morality [undefined, editor] demands equal opportunity for gay people.” Feldblum declares that perverted sex is “wonderful.” “Gay sex is morally good.” Question: Is this philosophy not right out of the Talmud, the top authority in Judaism?
Every effort will be made to keep these plain, verifiable truths from the American people. And who better to do this that Harvard law professor, Cass Sunstein who, in his book Democracy and the Problem of the First Amendment, advocates a “New Deal for speech.” In an article published in the Journal of Political Philosophy in 2008, Sunstein advocates “cognitive infiltration” of groups who believe in “conspiracy theories.” They “may create serious risks” for those who hold political power. The question is, “how such theories might be undermined?” Apparently, it has never occurred to the learned professor to publish all the evidence and, to quote the Declaration of Independence, “let the Facts be submitted to a candid world.” That, we may be assured, is NOT on his political agenda. Instead, he advocates: “Government agents (or their allies) might enter chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups and attempt to undermine percolating conspiracy theories by raising doubts about their factual premises, causal logic or implications for political action.” Are there not traces of George Orwell’s 1984 “Truth Ministry” in this utterance?
Please notice the heavy emphasis on deceiving instead of educating the public!
“And this is the condemnation, that truth is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather that light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reprieved. But he that does truth comes to the light, that he deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought on God” (John 3:19-21).
Remember, “The best disinfectant is the light of day [TRUTH].” The truth has its own power. The only way to prevent abuse of power is to have the use of power scrutinized and scrutinizable by anyone. The globalists dread exposure of their true motives and objectives.
In recent years, investigating the truth about any aspect of America’s recent past has been condemned. The unwritten rule of conduct passed down to the average “occupier of space” (or “human resource”) in America today is: “Shut up. Don’t ask any questions. If you value your life and your reputation, just swallow and then regurgitate what we tell you to believe.” In other words, who are you — dumb, stupid, ignorant peasant — to believe you can think for yourself? It is obvious that you are unqualified to think, let alone express an opinion. Crawl back into your hole and go back to sleep.
As Thomas Paine declared in Common Sense (The American Crisis) published in 1776: “These are times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything it value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; it would be strange if so celestial an article as Freedom should not be highly rated. [The government] with an army to enforce its tyranny, has declared that it has the right to ... ‘bind us in all cases whatsoever’ and if being bound in that manner is not slavery, then there is no such thing as slavery upon earth. Even the expression is impious; for so unlimited a power can belong only to God.”
