The political insanity known as "the presidential campaign" grinds on relentlessly. Week after week, month after month the airwaves (and our mail boxes) are overloaded with messages from the 23 presidential candidates representing the "Republican" and "Democratic" parties. These tell us how wonderfully qualified they are to hold the exalted position of President of the United States and, thus, become "leader of the free world." With "leadership" such as that offered in all but one of these immensely expensive publicity pieces, Americans may rightly look forward to a grim future. With one shining exception, all these seekers after political power offer nothing but strictly band aid non "solutions." In all but one case, the proposals offered merely deal in minor ways with some of the symptoms of the social and spiritual diseases wracking our nation. They never address the real causes of the problems that are systematically destroying our nation. But that’s to be expected. As Dr. Carroll Quigley so famously said, the two main parties are not truly rivals ("one of the Left, the other of the Right"). Their policies (or basic objectives, i.e. to surrender our national sovereignty and create a new world order) are "disputable only in details of procedure, priority, or method" (Tragedy and Hope, p.1248).
Thus, neither party is interested in addressing the real issues! Their "leading candidates" - the ones that get heavy financial backing from corporate entities, wealthy individuals, and have national "political machines" behind them - represent the long-term agendas of those who put up the money or give them favorable publicity. The true, long-term interests of the American people never enter into the equation.
INTERESTING NEW ELEMENT
In recent months an interesting new element has entered the political equation - one basically unanticipated by the political Establishment and the controlled media: the burgeoning campaign of Texas Republican Congressmen Ron Paul. In each of the three recent Republican debates broadcast nationally on prime time TV Ron Paul made a powerful impression. In post-debate web polls, he was twice declared the winner. In the third debate, he was voted a very close second. Clearly, Ron Paul has tremendous "grass roots" support across the nation. His message is clearly resonating with many people from coast-to-coast.
What has been the Establishment response to the "threat" posed by the genuine, blue-blooded, pro-Constitution, pro-American candidate from Texas who wants to protect his country and return it to its rightful place on the world stage? Little if any mention was made of Ron Paul on Good Morning America or other top "news" programs. When occasionally mentioned in newspaper and magazine articles, he is usually referred to in derogatory or dismissive terms - a "wacky" individual who is completely out of touch with political reality, and who should be dismissed without any further consideration. Of course, no mention is ever made of the fact that Ron Paul, and he alone, unswervingly and unquestionably defends the "Supreme Law of the Land" (Constitution, Article VI), the one document he and his colleagues each solemnly swore/affirmed to defend when entering Congress. His marvelously pristine congressional voting record attests to that fact. Ron Paul’s massive "grass-roots" support reflects the esteem in which many Americans hold the Texas congressman. It is easy to see why, in Establishment circles, Paul is a four-letter word!
A thought-provoking article by Laurence M Vance appeared on the Internet in May. The author had predicted earlier that the "Christian Right" would refuse to endorse Ron Paul "even though he appears to live up to the Religious Right’s own criteria." Why? They are more interested in "centralization ... than federalism, political power more than liberty, war more than peace, politicians more than principles, ‘faith-based’ socialism more than the free market, the state more than God Almighty.
"Why would the leadership of the "Christian Right" reject someone who is pro-religion, pro-family values, pro-religious liberty, pro-constitution, and a veteran, who not only is opposed to same-sex marriage, unrestricted immigration, gun control, the United Nations, but never, in all his years on Congress, voted to raise taxes, took a government-paid junket, or voted for a congressional pay raise." One of the reasons given was, "statolatry" - their "worship" of the state more than a true worship of God Almighty. As explained in my article in the May/June Midnight Messenger, their tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) status would be revoked if they took any other position.
REVEALING HISTORICAL INCIDENTS
The way the establishment media is handling this situation reminds this writer of a number of incidents he has witnessed over the years. Back in the mid-1950s, while living in England, he saw on television and heard on the radio extensive reports of what was allegedly happening in two separate stories that grabbed world headlines. The first was known as the Hungarian Uprising (in which Hungarian freedom fighters rose up against their Communist slave masters and, for a few glorious days, appeared to be on the verge of total success. The second was known as the Suez Crisis. In the latter, the Egyptian government seized the Suez Canal from British control and nationalized it.
In 1956, after more than a decade of Communist rule following their betrayal by the Allies at the end of World War II, resentment in many of the Eastern European nations was at a fever pitch. The people wanted to throw off their oppressive Red shackles. Encouraged by President Eisenhower’s political rhetoric about the need to "roll back the Iron Curtain" and thus "free the captive peoples" of eastern Europe, the Hungarian people revolted against their Communist slave masters. In a few days of sublime heroism, they forced the withdrawal of Russian occupation forces from their country.
The world looked on with bated breath. Multiple millions waited for President Eisenhower to honor his campaign promises to free the captives. Had the Hungarian uprising succeeded, there would no doubt have been a wave of similar uprisings in eastern European nations.
What did Eisenower do? He doused the fuse on that powder keg with ice-cold water. The State Department sent a telegram to the Communists: "The government of the United States does not look with favor upon governments unfriendly to the Soviet Union on the borders of the Soviet Union" (Congressional Record, August 31, 1960, p.17407).
That encouragement was all the Russians needed. America had confirmed its support for the Communists. Within hours, masses of Russian troops and tanks stormed back into Budapest with orders to deal mercilessly with all resistance. As the Russian army thundered through the streets of Budapest to crush the uprising, the freedom fighters broadcast one last desperate plea by radio: "People of the world, listen to our call. Help us, not with words, but with action, with soldiers and arms. Please do not forget that this wild attack by Bolshevism [Illuminism] will not stop. You may be the next nation. Save us ... our ship is sinking. The light vanishes. The shadows grow darker from hour to hour. Listen to our cry. Extend to us your brotherly hands... God be with you and us" (The Bridge at Andau, by James Michener, pgs.88-89). Then there was only silence.
[What wasn’t understood at the time was that, in 1942, at a conference in Ottawa, the US government had agreed to hand eastern Europe to the Communist at the end of WWII. This was done to set the stage for the "Cold War," the cover under which the Illuminati developed their plan to create a "new world order." Hence, "the government of the United States (did) not look with favor upon governments unfriendly to the Soviet Union on the borders of the Soviet Union" The facts behind this diagolical treachery are found in my 1980 book, Descent Into Slavery?].
Also in 1956, in the midst of the "Suez Crisis,"official Washington, in conjunction with the World Bank and the United Nations, blackmailed the British and French governments into handing over the Suez Canal and various other surrounding military bases under the threat that "full economic sanctions would be employed against both countries" if they refused. The Canal was handed over.
At the time both developments appeared incredibly stupid. With virtually no knowledge and even less understanding of political reality, this writer was dumbfounded at what happened. At the time it just didn’t make any sense. Although time passed and much more pressing issues had to be addressed, the important questions as to why these things were allowed to occur still lingered in his mind.
THE JFK ASSASSINATION
A few years later, another much more important story exploded into the headlines around the world: the JFK assassination. At the time I was living in the London area and, because of media coverage, believed the official version of what happened. Only years later did major questions begin to arise in my mind. Now, in 2007, very few believe the "official" version known as The Warren Commission Report. It has now been shown that some top government officials, rogue elements of the CIA, FBI, and the Mafia participated in the assassination plot.
One of the most significant revelations came from Madeleine Brown who was Lyndon Johnson’s mistress for more than two decades. In an 80-minute TV interview with Gaylon Ross, she revealed that the night before the assassination LBJ met with a number of Texas business tycoons in Dallas. As he emerged from the meeting, LBJ, who referred to Kennedy and his associates as the "Irish Mafia," declared: "After tomorrow, those SOBs will never embarrass me again. That’s not a threat. That’s a promise." JFK died the next day, thus making LBJ president. Johnson immediately escalated America’s involvement in Vietnam by deliberately fabricating the "Gulf of Tonkin incident" - an alleged attack on the American destroyer Maddox that never occurred. Johnson’s perfidy resulted in the deaths of 59,000 military personnel, with hundreds of thousands of others severely wounded or mentally traumatized.
Under Johnson America abandoned its Constitutional money system, replacing it with a worthless, irredeemable, fiat money system. Johnson also authored the "Great Society" program which turned America into a welfare state, thus demolishing the American Republic This, in turn, led to massive inflation and ever-expanding debt.
As economist C.V. Myers wrote at the time, "The situation has gone so far that, whoever is elected president [in 1968 to replace Johnson] he can produce no remedy now. If the Lord were to send an emissary of his own, this emissary could not stop the steamroller of destruction set in motion by the Johnson administration. He could not stop it because, if we concede that the Lord’s laws are natural laws only, then all natural laws would have to be cancelled if the emissary of the Lord could cure it. If he could cure it in any other way, he would have to defeat the Lord and all the natural laws that man has known since his birth on this planet" (Conservative Viewpoint, June 1970).
As of mid-2007, the federal government is estimated to have total debt obligations of approximately $75,000,000,000,000 ($75 Trillion).
LBJ AT HIS PERFIDIOUS WORST
In 1967 we saw LBJ at his perfidious worst. During the Six Day War between Israel and 3 Arabs states, the Israelis deliberately attacked and attempted to sink the clearly identified American destroyer USS Liberty 13 miles off the Sinai Peninsula. The captain called for help from the US 6th Fleet that was patrolling nearby. Admiral Isaac Kidd immediately launched fighters to intercept and repulse the Israeli attackers. The Admiral then called Washington and was ordered by President Johnson personally to recall the planes and let the prolonged Israeli onslaught continue unhindered.
Johnson later claimed the Israeli assault was due to "mistaken identity." This was, of course, ridiculous. Retired Admiral Thomas Moorer later accused both the US and Israeli governments of covering up evidence about the combined air and sea attacks: "The Israelis maintain it was simply a case of mistaken identity, but this clearly does not hold water. In clear visibility, this unique ship was easy to identify.
"The Israeli forces circled the ship and then proceeded to attack over an extended period of time. There is simply no way the fighter pilots and torpedo boat crews could have come to such a conclusion."
"WE’RE NOT INTERESTED IN THE FACTS"
Later, Ward Boston, senior legal counsel of the Navy’s Board of Enquiry, revealed that Admiral Kidd knew that "Israel attacked the USS Liberty deliberately." Before the Board of Enquiry convened, Boston was visited by two Johnson goons from the White House. He was told, "We’re not interested in the facts. It’s a political matter, and we can’t talk about it." Thus Johnson, America’s Commander-in-Chief, was guilty of betraying and aiding in the killing of 34 of his own sailors, with 174 more wounded.
And none dared call it treason!
THE MEDIA PLAYED ALONG WITH THE LIES
As each of the above incidents was occurring, America’s Establishment media ignored, twisted, or covered up the facts, and deliberately played along with the lies being devised and promoted by "official Washington."
For many decades the controlled media have, from coast-to-coast, participated in similar charades. How this is frequently done was witnessed by this author in August 1992, during the notorious "Siege At Ruby Ridge" in Idaho. On the scene for Midnight Messenger, and being in immediate touch with Colonel "Bo" Gritz and Jack McLamb, the two leading negotiators in the stand-off, we knew what was happening on an almost hourly basis. The Oregonian and other representatives of the Establishment were on the scene, allegedly to give the American people the real scoop on what was happening. When we became aware of the falsehoods they were spreading through hundreds of outlets, we asked the top reporter from The Oregonian for the reason. His answer was very telling: "Our job is to do interviews, gather the facts, and report to headquarters. The material is then adjusted and edited by the management. We’re not personally responsible for what appears in the paper."
This helps explain why so little truth and material of real substance appears in your "news" paper. The story that appeared in Midnight Messenger a couple of weeks later (Issue #45) was proven, in subsequent court cases, to be exactly in accord with the facts.
The moral of the story? Be careful about what you read in newspapers and magazines, or see on television. There are powerful people out there who want to keep others in the dark. In that deceived condition, they are able to continue to work their wicked will upon a misinformed and docile populace. In the words of one British official who was later conveniently "suicided," these "dark actors playing games," want to herd the population of the world - like so may dumb sheep or cattle - into a global concentration camp euphemistically called "the new world order."
Remember, this is a spiritual battle. The Satanically-inspired "dark actors" will finally be crushed into submission, as is so graphically portrayed in Psalm 2 and other scriptures. In the meantime, we must continue our search for truth. In the spiritual realm that is particularly important. For, as our Lord Jesus Christ declared, "You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:32).
