How times flies! Here we are at the end of another year and wondering where all the time went. The probable answer is that so many things have been happening so fast that many important events tend to become blurred and hard to keep in context. To complicate matters still further, the politicians and the Establishment media promote and emphasize relatively unimportant issues so as to distract us still further from understanding the reality of what is happening in and to our nation.
THE MAKING OF A 'HOUSEHOLD NAME'
 As you have undoubtedly noticed (unless you were out of the country, or just plain comatose), the smiling face of Senator Barack Obama is "everywhere." His face is to be seen on the front pages of leading magazines, and almost daily he has been appearing on top-rated talk shows. Fawning articles about him are appearing in virtually every newspaper across the nation. In short, with the December 11 appearance of his book, The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream, the first-term Illinois Senator is getting saturation-type national publicity that would ordinarily cost tens of millions of dollars. During his nationwide book promotion tour, Obama was "oohed" and "ahed" over on morning television talk shows. It is undoubtedly true that a major effort is being made to make "Barack Obama" a household name from sea to shining sea! Former Democratic Senate leader Tom Daschle declares that Obama is "one of those rare individuals who has almost unlimited potential and seems to defy most of the laws of political gravity at this point."
"What gives?" How could an obscure senator - one who ranks 99'" out of 100 in the Senate seniority ratings -suddenly appear from "nowhere" to become the "darling" of the media and one who is being touted as a presidential candidate in 2008? Good question! It should be abundantly clear to anyone who takes the time to think about it that things like this like don't "happen" accidentally. As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "In politics there are no accidents. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way."
To understand what is almost certainly happening in the case of Barack Obama, we would do well to pay attention to insightful words written by Eldridge Cleaver nearly forty years ago. In his 1968 book. Soul On Ice. Cleaver noted that no true, independent black leader had emerged on the national stage since the passage of the landmark civil rights bills of 1954 and 1965. He pointed out that this was more by design than by a lack of qualified candidates. The powers-that-be had made certain that no clear-thinking, patriotic. Constitution-defending, free enterprise supporting black got within hailing distance of a leadership role. Only blacks who were willing to sell themselves out to pervasive interests were promoted as "leaders" among their own people.
"Through an elaborate system of sanctions, rewards, penalties, and persecutions - with, more often than not, members of the black bourgeoisie acting as hatchet men -any Negro who sought leadership over the black masses and refused to become a tool of the white power structure was either cast into prison, killed, hounded out of the country, or blasted into obscurity and isolation in his own land and among his own people. His isolation was secured by publicity boycotts alternated with character assassination in the mass media, and by the fratricidal power plays of Uncle Toms who control the Negro community on behalf of the white power structure" (Soul On Ice, p.87). Has anything really changed in 40 years?
It is evident that the Establishment is busily promoting Barack Obama. This indicates they plan to use him for their own ends in the months and years ahead. He is currently being touted as a probable presidential candidate in 2008. Although the Democrats are most unlikely to nominate Obama as their presidential candidate in 2008, he could conceivably end up in the vice-presidential slot. This would ensure that the overwhelmingly majority of blacks would vote for the candidate with whom he was running.
Obama, an African-American who is a smooth orator with an attractive personality, will undoubtedly become further indebted to the Establishment by receiving outlandish "honoraria" for delivering Establishment-controlled speeches to audiences at political rallies, universities, business conventions, and other functions around the nation. These "fees" can range from $10,000 - $100,000 or more for delivering 40-50 minutes of pious platitudes to basically dumbed-down and virtually mindless audiences who - never having been taught to think, analyze, and reason independently for themselves - will be lured into believing they are participating in a process that is above board and truly meaningful. These fees are little more than bribes. They exalt the ego of the recipient and ensure that he toes the party line. He can thus be used to further the nefarious purposes of his puppet masters. To most individuals such ridiculously high payments act just like a narcotic. Once politicians (and others in somewhat similar situations in business, religion, etc.) get "hooked" on the narcotic of "fame" and huge financial incentives, they quickly lose interest in pursuing the more noble policies they may have originally endorsed and promoted. For strictly short-term benefits, they become little more than prostitutes to be used in the furtherance of the long-term agendas of their master manipulators. Having sold out to the highest bidder, they are little more than pawns in the game. Washington D.C. (The District of Corruption) and State capitals nationwide are overloaded with such political whores! It is interesting to note that one of Obama's public pitches is that, "We shouldn't look at ourselves as 'Democrats' or 'Republicans,' but rather as 'Americans.'" That will undoubtedly appeal to many unenlightened Americans who are more impressed by political rhetoric than by reality. "He must be one of us."
NORTH AMERICAN UNION
 In recent issues of Midnight Messenger we have drawn the attention of readers to the ominous nature of the North American Union (the proposed amalgamation of the United States, Canada, and Mexico) being pushed relentlessly by the Bush Administration without Congressional oversight. It is clearly designed to destroy American sovereignty and further die goal of creating a one world government.
Vice President Dick Cheney spoke recently at a special meeting of the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR), an organization established in 1921 by the Internationalists to promote their new world order agenda. In the questions and answers section at the conclusion of Cheney's speech, David Rockefeller rose from the audience and said: "Vice President, I liked so much your whole speech, but I was particularly pleased that you gave such a strong endorsement for the free trade agreement with all the Americas. That subject has been of great concern for me for years - particularly recently, and I believe it absolutely essential for the strength of our economy."
Left unsaid, of course, was the fact that virtually all recent American free trade movements were conceived and nurtured by David Rockefeller: These include, The Council of the Americas, The Americas Society, The Forum of the Americas, The Institute of International Economics, and The Trilateral Commission. These were all created by Rockefeller to further the ultimate plan of putting together a new world order.
Important question. Have you personally heard or read anything about these nefarious plans on network TV or through your local media? I doubt it. This truth has been "blacked out" by the Establishment media. Only recently did the one world plotters feel confident enough to begin letting this truth become public. For example, in his Memoirs (Random House, 2002), David Rockefeller made a very significant admission: "For more than a century ideological extremists ... (have) attack(ed) the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over the American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it" (Memoirs, p. 405). There you have it, right from the horse's mouth! If you previously had doubts about this political reality, have they now been eliminated? Incidentally, David Rockefeller's grandfather, the infamous John D. Rockefeller, is notorious for having declared that "competition is a sin."
AGENTS PROVOCATEUR
In Midnight Messenger #129 we drew the attention of our readers that the fact that there was a long-existing plan ("the Zionist Plan") to create all kinds of chaos and confusion in the various Arab/Islamic nations of the Middle East in preparation for their being subdivided into smaller, more controllable segments through civil wars. Evidence lias since emerged that specially-trained agents of both the United States and Britain have been working busily to create such conditions. It appears that - as agents provocateur -these individuals have in fact been behind many of the recent car-bombings in Baghdad. Robert Fisk, writing in The Independent, a leading British daily, tells of information he received from a reliable individual he has known for 15 years: "I swear to you that we have very good information. One young man told us that he was trained by the Americans as a policeman in Baghdad. He spent 70 percent of his time learning to drive and 30 percent in weapons training. They said to him, 'come back in a week.' When he went back they gave him a mobile phone and told him to drive into a crowded area near a mosque and phone them. He waited in the car but couldn't get the right mobile signal. So he got out of the car to where he received a better signal. Then his car blew up.'
"Impossible, I think to myself, but then I remember how many times Iraqis in Baghdad have told me similar stories. These reports are believed even if they seem unbelievable....
"There was another man, trained by the Americans for the police. He too was given a mobile and told to drive to an area where there was a crowd - maybe a protest - and call them and tell them what was happening. Again, his new mobile was not working. So he went to a landline phone and called the Americans and told them. 'Here I am, in the place you sent me and I can tell you what's happening.' And at that moment there was a big explosion in his car.
"Just who these 'Americans' might be, my source did not say. In the anarchic and panic-stricken world of Iraq there are many U.S. groups - including countless outfits supposedly working for the American military and the new Western-backed Iraqi interior ministry - who operate outside any laws or rules..." (The Independent, 12/17/06).
AP News Service and Forbes News Service and International Herald Tribune have stated that "reports also accuse the United States of operating a ClA/French intelligence backed terror ring on Egyptian territory for the recruitment of foreign fighters to be deployed in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.... Security officials in Egypt released new details Monday [12/11/06] about an American man in their custody on suspicion of links to a terror network which allegedly recruits Muslims to fight in the U.S.-led coalition in Iraq." Also, Italy has set a date to bring possible indictments against its own intelligence service who kidnaped and tortured a Muslim cleric in Milan. Over 30 U.S. and Italian intelligence agents may face charges after the "extraordinary rendition" of Egyptian cleric Hassan Mustafa Osama Nasr. According to prosecutors, 26 of the Americans are CIA agents.
Writing for the website informationliberation.com, Sacha Faal declares: "To the much greater danger of these actions by the United States, however, is the fueling of tensions and hostilities in the part of the World that needs little more incentive to ignite our entire Globe into a scenario of Total War."
As documented in Issue #129, "the scenario of total war" is very much part of the Luciferian Illuminati plot to create a totalitarian one world government. Under deep cover, is the Bush administration, the CIA, and intelligence agencies worldwide in fact plotting and scheming to create such a scenario. It would be unwise to rule out such a distinct possibility.
All this could possibly serve to explain why the White House is "dragging its feet" on Iraq, and why it seems to be doing almost everything in its power to antagonize the Muslim World.
That's "it" for December. Be sure you keep tuned for further developments. We are living in "exciting" but perilous times. Never forget we are engaged in a spiritual battle, one that is unwinnable in the physical sphere. This is Satan's world. He has deceived it to the uttermost (Revelation 12:9). Only the Lord Jesus Christ has the power and authority to clean up this mess. He will do just that in his own time and in his own way. Then, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God (Phillipians 2:10-11).
