WHAT LIES BEYOND THIS "CENTURY OF HORROR"?

   We are truly living in momentous and historic times. At the conclusion of what the London Observer describes as "the century of horror" -- undoubtedly the bloodiest and most horrific century in the annals of human history -- what does the future hold for the human race?

   As the last hours of 1999 tick relentlessly away, our nation and the world are poised to enter the Twenty-First Century -- and a New Millennium. Will the next century be characterized by even greater horror and deception than its predecessor? Eighty years ago, Winston Churchill foresaw our present dilemma, and posed a vital question: Will all that Christianity, "incomparably the most precious possession of mankind, worth in fact the fruits of all other wisdom and learning put together", be superseded in the years ahead by "another system of morals and philosophy, as malevolent as Christianity is benevolent ... [one which will] shatter all that Christianity has rendered possible"?

   Yes, what does the future hold? That is the big question. Will we stumble on aimlessly into the new millennium, hoping for the best but fearing the worst? Or, are we about to enter a magical new age of man's devising -- one of unparalleled technical advancement, freedom, peace and prosperity? Or, failing that, will we plunge into the spiritual abyss ominously portrayed by Winston Churchill?

   There is another possibility. Before we take that final fateful plunge into national oblivion, will we come to our spiritual senses, break loose from the traumatic effects of a century of unprecedented human horror, deception, political deception, moral depravity, and spiritual disintegration -- and, as a nation and by the grace of God, emerge unscathed?

   Those questions need to be addressed -- and ANSWERED!

   Checking around, you will find strong advocates for all of these possible scenarios. Each will put their case forward with the greatest conviction and in the utmost sincerity.

FACING REALITY

   The hardest task one has in this upside-down society is to face reality -- the hard, cold truth about both themselves, as individuals, and society at large. Yielding to the deceitfulness of our own human nature -- and being strongly influenced by the society in which we live -- most of us vigorously resist reality. To admit our own monumental inadequacies and lack of coping skills would be psychologically devastating. It would show us up in a bad light. It would shatter the phony image we present to the world. It would leave us "naked" and helpless. As a result, like Adam and Eve, we manufacture a wide variety of "fig leaves" in a desperate effort to conceal our true condition.

   To acknowledge and accept things that are "unacceptable" to those whose friendship we value can be traumatic. After all, "What would people think?" Doesn't everyone need to feel "accepted" and "needed" in order to avoid being devastated psychologically and "feeling bad" about themselves?

   Isn't it necessary, for our own happiness and peace of mind, to "go along to get along"? "Everybody does it!" Wouldn't any other way of doing things be an "obvious" manifestation of some type of "fanaticism", "oddness", "political incorrectness", or other type of social aberration? Such are the enormous pressures brought to bear on those who dare to think independently.

   The almost paranoid reluctance to acknowledge and face up to reality -- and the attendant unwillingness to change -- is at the heart and core of most of our problems, both as individuals and, collectively, as a nation. It stands in the way of all progress. The simple biblical admonition to "repent ... and be converted" (Acts 3:19) is obnoxious to every human being who dogmatically believes the satanic lie that they can be "as god" (Genesis 3:5).

   To deluded humans, being "accepted" and made to feel "needed" is much more important than sincerity and truth! Subsequently, when we stumble over the basic reality in various important areas of life, we brush it off and hurry on about our business as if nothing had happened. We are oblivious to the fact that only when we know, accept, and respond to the truth can we be truly set free (John 8:32).

   No wonder most of us feel frustrated, empty, unfulfilled, and purposeless in our lives!

BASIC PREMISE

   It is undeniable that when one starts off with a false premise, one inevitably ends up with a false conclusion. Hence, if our hopes and aspirations for the twenty-first century are based upon a false premise, they will inevitably end up on the rocks.

   As we approach the new millennium we need to take a careful look at what we believe, and why. We need to subject our beliefs to the acid test of cold reality. This is no time to harbor illusions, or to gloss over facts that cry out for our attention.

   Virtually all of today's social dilemmas spring from a false diagnosis of the problems we face. Those problems are not, as most assume, political in nature. As a result, they cannot be solved by political action and social engineering.

   In truth, our problems are spiritual in nature. Until we come to grips with that reality, we will make no significant progress. We will only continue to disintegrate, both as individuals and as a society.

   The initial false premise upon which all others are based, is man's unwitting acceptance of the satanic lie that he can be "as god" (Genesis 3:5). This is the belief that man should be able to make up his own rules and "do his own thing" without suffering adverse consequences. Despite an historical record of some six thousand years of abject failure in attempting to make this lunacy work -- six thousand years of blood, toil, tears, and sweat -- man still adamantly refuses to wise up. In fact, year-by-year he becomes more unyielding in his rebellion and more dedicated in his desire to prove God wrong.

   The twentieth century has witnessed many wonderful advances in technical knowledge and understanding. It has also seen the discovery of many further proofs that biblical history is accurate and reliable. Yet, ironically, the twentieth century is the one in which all our political leaders -- not to mention many religious leaders -- have finally abandoned any acknowledgment of a Sovereign God, who, alone, is the source of all truth.

   Yes, modern man has fallen hook, line, and sinker for the satanic lie that he can be "as god." In his collective form, the State, man has now exalted himself to the position where he -- alone -- believes he can decide what is right and what is wrong. Most are oblivious to the satanic connection.

   Modern man -- "inspired" by Satan who "deceives the whole world" (Revelation 12:9) -- has kicked the Creator out of his churches, his courts, his legislatures, his schools, and his homes. Man has now assumed the role of being his own savior.

   What a staggering change from our nation's earliest beginnings!

   History clearly shows that, since colonial days, America was built on the Word of God. In the Mayflower Compact (1620), the Pilgrims declared that the purpose of their voyage to the new world -- "to plant the first Colony in the northern parts of Virginia" -- "was undertaken for the Glory of God and the Advancement of the Christian Faith". It was viewed as the new promised land. John Winthrop prophesied: "We shall be as a city on a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us; so if we deal falsely with our God in this work we have undertaken and so cause Him to withdraw His present help from us, we shall be made a story and a by-word throughout the world".

   Since the founding of our nation, the Supreme Court has, on a number of occasions (1892, 1952, 1961), affirmed that America is a Christian nation. The Constitutions of all fifty States confirm this fact.

   The late Justice David Brewer gave an address at Harvard in 1905 documenting the Christian nature of the American Republic. In summary, he said: "In no charter or constitution is there anything to even suggest that any other than the Christian is the religion of this country.... In short, there is no charter or constitution that is either infidel, agnostic or non-Christian.... Christianity came to this country with the first colonists. [It] has been powerfully identified with its rapid development, colonial and national, and today exists as a mighty factor in the life of the Republic. This is a Christian nation, and we can all rejoice".

   How things have changed since then! We have witnessed a "great falling away" from the faith and religious convictions of our forefathers. There has been a steady erosion of the beliefs and principles which helped make the United States the greatest nation in history. We have been left wallowing in a mental quagmire of confusion and uncertainty.

   An enemy has been writing our 3x5 cards, rewriting our textbooks, reprogramming our mental computers, undermining and subverting our institutions, destroying the churches of the land, and removing every last vestige of character from our populace.

   Like our counterparts in Ancient Rome, we are in total denial. Unwilling to come to grips with the truth about our ghastly predicament, most have immersed themselves in a fantasy world of make-believe. We have buried ourselves in distractions.

   By our actions, most of us are clearly saying, "Leave me alone, I don't want to be confused with the facts. I don't want to change my thinking, or my way of life. Let posterity be damned."

   Like those in Ancient Rome just before its demise, we specialize in escapism -- anything that will help us avoid reality: Sports extravaganzas, entertainment, TV game shows, inane sitcoms, casino gambling, lotteries, tourism, and other attractions vie for our attention and our dollars. Countless billions are being spent each years in the vain pursuit of instant gratification. Entertainment revenues have soared to unbelievable heights in the last decade. The result of this moronic escapism: social devastation!

   The fears of John Winthrop have been realized. America has forsaken the Creator God. America, the only nation in history -- apart from Ancient Israel -- to be founded on the law of God, has turned its back on its precious heritage. We have renounced our dependance upon the Creator. Like Ancient Israel, we have "gone awhoring after false gods". That spiritual seduction, which began in the early 1800s, and developed slowly, has exploded into full-blown manifestation since the 1960s. Christianity has become a dirty word in many circles. Christians are now scorned and made the butt of many a snide joke.

   To put the situation in the simplest terms, America has changed Gods. The god America now serves is Lucifer, or Satan. He is the one who initially led the rebellion against his creator (Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28). He is the one who appears "as an angel of light" (II Corinthians 11:14). He is the one who, in the final analysis, has "deceived the whole world" (Revelation 12:9).

   As documented by this writer in Fourth Reich of the Rich, it was this spirit being (this supposed "angel of light") who inspired Adam Weishaupt to form the Illuminati (the Order of the Enlightened Ones) in Bavaria in 1776. Thus began what is now known as the World Revolution. It began its deadly work of worldwide destruction by creating the circumstances that resulted in the French Revolution (1789). The ultimate goal, the destruction of Christian Civilization and the establishment of a Godless, Christ-less New World Order -- one not subject to the perfect and righteous Laws of God.

   Writing 131 years later, Winston Churchill recognized that the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution in Russia was fomented by the same diabolical forces. Those forces have continued to work their diabolically wicked will in nation after nation, worldwide, since then. Following instructions laid out by Weishaupt subsequent to the initial exposure of the Illuminati and its satanic aims in the 1780s, the World Revolution no longer operates under its original name. Rather, it functions under a wide variety of names: Communism, Leninism, Marxism, Socialism, Fabianism, Liberalism, Democracy etc. All these, and others, are but branches on the same tree -- a corrupt tree whose creator and sustainer is Satan (or Lucifer), the Universe's first revolutionary (Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28). "Wherefore, their fruits shall you know them" (Matthew 7:20).

   In the United States, the outworking of this plot first manifested itself in the presidential election of 1912. As leading British Socialist, John Strachey, later wrote, "It is impossible to establish Communism [Luciferian Illuminism] as the immediate successor of Capitalism. Accordingly, it is proposed to establish Socialism as something we can put in the place of our present decaying Capitalism. Hence the Communists work for the establishment of Socialism as the transition road to Communism". For the Illuminist plan to work, the United States had to be turned into a socialist state. But how?

   The "how" began to manifest itself during the 1912 presidential campaign. The reelection bid of Republican William Howard Taft was undermined by one of his mentors, Theodore Roosevelt. The former Republican president formed the Progressive Party and again ran for president. In a three-way presidential election, the Republican vote was divided between Taft and Roosevelt. This opened up the way for the election of Democrat Woodrow Wilson, a socialist who had the support of the Establishment and the international bankers.

   In his 1912 novel, Philip Dru: Administrator, Wilson's puppet master/alter ego, Colonel E. Mandell House, has his characters planning the "spiritual leavening" of American society and the development of "Socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx...." (1998 edition, p.35 [available from Midnight Messenger, $14.50 postpaid]). It will be noted that during the Wilson years two of the ten planks of Marx's Communist Manifesto (#2, a heavy, progressive income tax, and #5, a central bank, the Federal Reserve System) were imposed on the American people. It was no "accident". It was planned that way!

   Plans for a Socialist America were stymied in the 1920s during the Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover administrations. Also, Congress refused to ratify plans to create a League of Nations, an early attempt to create -- in embryonic form -- the foundations for a World Government, or New World Order.

   In 1929 came the deliberately created Wall Street Crash. This was followed by the Great Depression. These events created dire economic and social conditions. These, in turn, led to the election in 1932 of President Franklin Roosevelt, an ardent socialist and tool of international banking. Prior to his election -- through deceit and the use of Aesopian language -- Roosevelt concealed his Socialist agenda from the American people.

   Immediately upon entering the Oval Office, Roosevelt reenacted the War and Emergency Powers Act (a WWI emergency law) and assumed virtual dictatorial powers. As the Foreword of Senate Report Number 93-549 (dated November 19, 1973), states: "Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been at a state of declared national emergency... This vast range of powers ... confer enough authority to rule the country without reference to normal constitutional processes". Under the involved statutes, "the President may ... institute martial law ... [and] "control the lives of all American citizens". These "emergency powers" opened up the way for the subsequent enactment of many socialist programs unauthorized by the Constitution.

   Within days, Roosevelt also granted diplomatic recognition to the Soviet Union (The Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics), thus opening the credit markets of the world to Stalin's Communist regime. In other ways, also, Roosevelt and his socialist cohorts in Washington bailed out the failing Red government.

   During World War II, Roosevelt massively supported the Communist cause. The Roosevelt administration, which was loaded with Communist agents (Hiss, Hopkins, Chambers, etc.) poured about $12,000,000,000 (1940 dollars) into supplying and financing the Red war machine (From Major Jordan's Diaries, by George Racey Jordan. Harcourt, Brace. 1952). Roosevelt clearly saved the Soviet Union from collapse, thus furthering the Illuminati conspiracy. His actions did an inestimable amount of damage to the cause of liberty worldwide.

   Under the Yalta agreement, signed just prior to his death in 1945, Roosevelt handed over the nations of eastern Europe to his Communist friends. In the late 1940s, Roosevelt's successor, Harry Truman, betrayed China into the hands of the Communists. Like dominos, other Asian nations followed suit.

   Of more recent date, we betrayed Rhodesia and South Africa into Communist hands, and granted "most favored nation" status to the murderous Red Chinese regime. Now, we are about to hand over the Panama Canal to the same forces. (See articles on page 5).

   Most of these actions are clearly treasonous. Our Constitution -- the Supreme Law of the Land -- clearly defines treason: "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort". (The Constitution of the United States, Article 3, Section 3).

   On the American scene, following Roosevelt's death, the steady slide into Socialism slowed down. In other parts of the world, such as Britain, Canada, and Australia, the move towards Socialism and the attendant rejection of absolute moral values accelerated.

   It was not until the early 1960s that a complete plan was devised by which American society could be revamped and reorganized along socialist lines. This plan, the work of a Special Study Group, was commissioned by the top political and financial authorities in Washington and New York. It emerged in the form of Report From Iron Mountain (Available from Midnight Messenger, $9.50 postpaid). See also, Storming the Gates of Hell, pp. 74-78).

   The question of "credibility" or "believability" lay at the heart of developing and implementing their diabolical plan. "Credibility is the key... [U]nless it provides a believable life-and-death threat it will not serve the socially organizing function of war." The plan called for the creation of a series of national "crises" against which alleged "wars" could be waged. The general purpose was to "generate an omnipresent and readily understood fear of personal destruction. This fear must be of a nature and degree sufficient to ensure adherence to societal values to the full extent that they are acknowledged to transcend the value of individual human life" (p.83) The "war effort" needed to overcome these alleged crises would also entail the "expenditure of resources for completely nonproductive purposes" (p.83).

   These wars would invariably result in higher taxes and more government control.

   This "war system" would be "subject to arbitrary political control", and would thus "essentially [provide] an external necessity for a society to accept political rule. In so doing, it [would establish] the basis for ... the authority of government to control its constituents" (p.64).

   Classic Hegelianism!

Since the mid-1960s, we have fought a multitude of these phony wars. We have fought -- and paid heavily for -- "wars" on poverty, wars on drugs, wars on crime, wars on inflation, wars on environmental pollution, etc. It is abundantly evident that all have failed miserably to achieve their declared objective: victory. It is even more abundantly clear that they have achieved their covert objective, more debt, and "the authority of government to control its constituents". People control is the name of the game. As FDR once said, "In politics, there are no accidents. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way".

   In recent decades, additional and even more destructive wars have been waged relentlessly against the American people -- and their traditional way of life. These wars are against Christianity, the family, and traditional values. They are against patriotism and national sovereignty. These wars are being waged through "change agents" in political circles, in the media, and in the schools of our land. It is all part of a softening up process. The war dead and wounded are all around us.

   This is all part of what Winston Churchill called a "worldwide [Illuminati] conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and for the reconstruction of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence and impossible equality...." It is satanic in nature. To understand this fact more perfectly, we refer you to Christopher Story's excellent article on page 3.

   All the problems facing the United States are spiritual in nature. As Judge Moore says (page 8), "secular solutions will never solve spiritual problems". Our ultimate battle is not against secular forces, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood [other humans], but against principalities, against [spiritual] powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness [or wicked spirits] in high places" (Ephesians 6:12).

   These principalities and powers have governed the nations of the world since the Babylonian System was established on the Plains of Shinar (Genesis 11). In the mind and purpose of the Creator God, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen and become the habitation of demons" (Revelation 18:2).

   Our choice is simple: Divinely Revealed Truth v. Satan's Intricate Lies. They can't be successfully mixed. We must choose one or the other. There is no place for compromise. It is an act of spiritual insanity to attempt to recycle Satan's Babylonian Garbage, incorportate it in our religious practices -- as many churches do -- and expect victory. Satan's diabolical religious psycho-babble must be discarded in its entirety. Jesus Christ, alone, is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life" (John 14:16).

   We are, therefore, commanded to "COME OUT OF BABYLON" and thus avoid her imminent judgement (Revelation 18:4). Her defeat is God's responsibility, not our's!

   What, then, is the biblical admonition for Christians in these critical times? "[T]ake unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.

   "Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness...

   "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

   "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God....." (Ephesians 6:14-17).

   Notice that there is no shield for the back. No protection is provided if we retreat. Onward Christian soldiers!

   "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed [Jesus Christ], saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

   "He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision" (Psalm 2:1,2).  

Thankfully, this is not our battle. It is God's! He will take care of his enemies in his own way -- and in his own time!
