The Ron Paul Revolution

by Des Griffin

Des Griffin - article from Midnight Messenger

Dear Friends:

The following is my article that appeared in the November-December, issue #136 of Midnight Messenger. This is of vital national concern.

The long, boring, and monotonously repetitious ritual known as the presidential campaign drags relentlessly on and on. Hundreds of millions of dollars are being poured into or spent on what is little more than a political scampaign to still further confuse, befuddle, mislead, and ensnare the long-suffering American public. "Leading" candidates criss-cross the nation month after monotonous month, mouthing platitudes, while saying little if anything of consequence. They meticulously ignore or willfully misrepresent the real problems wracking our nation. In other words, politics as usual. As Will Rogers once observed, "If you ever injected truth into politics, you’d have no politics."

THEY TOOK A SOLEMN OATH

All 15 candidates have one thing in common: they have each taken a solemn oath to defend and abide by the Constitution (the "Supreme Law of the Land," Article V1) and "to the best of (their) ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." But there they part company.

All but one of the candidates have records of regularly breaking or compromising their oaths for the sake of political expediency. Only one has an unbroken record of never breaking that oath: Ron Paul. Question: If the future of our once great nation depended on you as an individual, for whom would you cast your vote? If the future of the United States depended on you as an individual, which would you choose, Constitutional Law or Political Chaos leading to national enslavement? If you are like most "Americans" I encounter along the way, you will almost certainly be just dumb enough to vote for national destruction and slavery.

AVOIDING RESPONSIBILTIY

Ron PaulMultiple millions will vote in the upcoming primaries for one of the many oath breakers. Many who know better will wimp out by claiming they are voting for the "lesser of two or more evils." That heavily dog-eared excuse outlived its perceived usefulness at the time the first election was held. It doesn’t hold water. Voting for the "lesser of two evils" is to knowingly vote for evil. It is a deceitful way of avoiding responsibility for what will happen as a consequence. By doing so, such voters avoid making a truly responsible decision to stand up for what they know is constitutionally correct – the path that led to the United States originally becoming the freest, wealthiest, most powerful nation in the history of the world.

As stated on many previous occasions since at least the 1950s, the perceived differences between the "Democratic" and "Republican" parties have been purely cosmetic. As Professor Carroll Quigley pointed out in 1966, it is a "foolish idea" to think that the two parties are not "almost identical, so that the American people can ‘throw the rascals out’ in any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. The policies that are vital and necessary for America [in the eyes of the globalists] are no longer subjects of significant disagreement, but are disputable only in details of procedure, priority, or method... These things any national party hoping to win a presidential election must accept" (Tragedy and Hope, p.1247-1248).

With these basic realities firmly in mind, it should be clear that what has happened in and to our nation over the last 50 years (the tidal wave of destruction that is currently engulfing America) is not "accidental" in nature. Rather, it is the result of deliberate policies devised by a occultic "secret cabal" and imposed on the American people by those who are allegedly their "representatives." Some of these truths were written about by John Stormer (None Dare Call It Treason, 1954), and by Gary Allen (None Dare Call It Conspiracy, 1971). The occult connection was made by this author (Fourth Reich of the Rich, 1976, and Descent Into Slavery?, 1980). In 2002, David Rockefeller wrote that some believe he is part of a "secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States ... and conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will... If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it" (Memoirs, p.405)

POLITICAL PROSTITUTES

Ron PaulRealistically, national and world events can only be understood in the light of these statements. Nothing else makes sense. The majority of those misrepresenting themselves as our representatives in Congress are sailing under false flags. They are not interested in maintaining the national sovereignty of the United States. As hired servants of special interests, and thus little more than political prostitutes, they are systematically eroding America’s true national interests and clearing the way for America’s demise and ultimate absorption into a Luciferian new world order – " one world, if you will." This alone helps explain recent history. As Gary Allen wrote 36 years ago, "If we were merely dealing with the law of averages, half the events affecting our nation’s well-being should be good for America. If we were dealing with mere incompetence, our leaders should occasionally make a mistake in our favor. We are not dealing with coincidence or stupidity, but with planning and brilliance" (p.8).

Since the1980s, the move to destabilize and ultimately destroy American sovereignty has been accelerating. GATT, NAFTA, gov- ernment- sanctioned massive illegal immigration, exploding federal budgets and the unrestricted recreation of fiat money (credit) by the privately-owned "Federal" Reserve, the "outsourcing" of millions of well-paying American jobs to Communist China and other nations, the move to create a North American Union (United States, Canada and Mexico), and plans to create a common currency (the Amero), have had a devastating impact on our nation. The planned North American Union is yet another manifestation of the secret cabal’s plans to create similar blocs (like the European Union and African Union) around the globe that can then be merged into a one world order slave camp.

Listening to the "leading" presidential candidates, one hears no criticism of these policies that are laying waste our once great nation. They appear to find nothing wrong with these anti-American, sovereignty-eliminating activities that are wreaking such havoc on American society. Their lack of opposition strongly indicates their willingness – in blatant violation of their oaths to defend the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic – to sacrifice the future of their nation for their own political expediency. They are, in effect, helping to wage war against the United States. If this writer’s understanding of the clear wording of the Constitution is correct, this constitutes Treason (Article 3, Section 3). Their actions – or lack thereof – strongly suggest they are part of the urban renewal crew whose job it is to clear the ground for the construction of a Luciferian new world order. If they are too dumb to recognize what is going on – or too cowardly to speak out in opposition to it – they are obviously too dumb and too cowardly to rightly lead our nation. They clearly don’t deserve our vote.

When the field for the presidential race began to form back in January (2007), the names of most of the current front runners topped the list. As winter turned into spring and then summer, none of the leading candidates appeared capable of generating any genuine public "excitement" or enthusiasm in their bid for the nation’s highest political office. Their individual campaign funding followed predictable patterns. The Establishment, corporate interests, and wealthy individuals who have a vested in big government, duly supported those political prostitutes who were proven team players. As usual, their campaigns were able to proceed along predictable paths. Without such dubious endorsements, other candidates seemed incapable of developing either widespread support or the money necessary to wage meaningful campaigns.

THE RON PAUL REVOLUTION

Ron PaulThat began to change in the second quarter when the pro-Constitution, pro-American, pro-individual liberty, pro-financial responsibility (and the "Our American way of life is under attack") message of Ron Paul began to resonate with many people across the nation. Paul’s individual integrity is legendary in our nation’s capital. As he can’t be bought and won’t compromise his oath of office, lobbyists don’t even bother to visit him in Congress. "As a U.S. Congressman, I always think about the well-being of my family and of all the families of our great nation when I cast a vote or introduce legislation. I also remember I have sworn a solemn oath to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States. For me, upholding that oath is the best way to preserve and protect the blessed American way of life for our children and grandchildren."

In a recent nationally-broadcast debate, Ron Paul declared: "Peoples lives and rights are a gift from God, and the purpose of government is to protect life and liberty. Extend that. If you have the fruits of your labor, I want you to keep the fruits of your labor as well. Under those conditions and under a freedom philosophy, and under the Constitution, we would be so much more prosperous. We wouldn’t be policing the world, and we would be bringing our troops home. We would take care of our own people here at home."

• What legacy would a Ron Paul presidency leave to "black Americans"? "A plural society should take care of blacks and whites and everybody equally because we are all individuals. That is most important. If we had equal justice it would be a big improvement... If you are going to have prosperity, it must serve everybody. If this is done by emphasizing property rights and freedom of the individual, we must make sure that the powerful specials interests don’t control Washington, and that the military/industrial complex doesn’t suck away all the wealth of the country. Then we will have prosperity. This is what we need..."

"A free society is the only society that can provide goods and services and distribute them in the most fair manner. That is the society I would advocate and argue for. I believe it is available to us."

• Does Ron Paul favor the minimum wage? "Walter Williams, a very astute [black] economist, has studied this [subject] extensively and has found that prior to the minimum wage law there was no discrepancy... He puts a lot of blame on the minimum wage law where government gets to interfering and takes away opportunities... The economy is supported only when you have to have a sound economy perpetuated by government with sound policies. You have to have sound money, with minimum taxes, [and] you have to have wise foreign policy. This would help a lot of people, black or white or whatever. This would help people who are trying to get a start. They would never have to pay any taxes [if they had low incomes]. This would give them a start to get ahead and get a good job."

• How about illegal aliens? "We have to stick to our guns and obey the law. Anybody who comes here illegally shouldn’t be rewarded... I see the immigration problem as a consequence of our welfare state. Welfare, because we encourage people not to work here, and the welfare we offer the people who come here [illegally]: free medical care, free education. They bankrupt our hospitals. Our hospitals are closing, and it should not be rewarded. That means ... you don’t reward them, you don’t give them citizenship. At the same time, you can’t solve this problem unless you get rid of the welfare state, because in a healthy economy immigrants wouldn’t be a threat to us... Today they are a threat to our standard of living...."

• How about medical care? "[I oppose] the corporatism that runs medicine. Wall Street rakes off the profits, the patients are unhappy, the doctors are unhappy. It’s a monopoly now. Who lobbies in Washington? The drug companies and the HMOs. Now the cry is for socialized medicine. That’s not the answer. We need to get the government out of the way...

"Inflation hits the middle class and the poor the most. Those are the people who are losing it... Inflation wipes out the middle class, and we have to deal with that. If you have a product that is not dealt with by government, prices go down when you have modern technology. But with all this technology prices go up because the government is involved. We don’t have enough competition. There’s a doctor monopoly out there. We need alternate health care freely available to the people. They should be able to make their own choices and not be controlled by the FDA compelling them to use some of their medications...."

• Should America be fighting wars overseas? "The most important oath we take is to obey the Constitution. We shouldn’t be going to all these wars... We shouldn’t have war unless it is declared. If we declare war, we should win it.... We have been in this [Iraq] war for five years and no one can see an end to it. We went in under false pretenses. There were no weapons of mass destruction. There are still people who believe that Iraq had something to do with 9/11, yet 15 of these people were from Saudi Arabia" [an alleged ally].

UNCONSTITUTIONAL FISCAL POLICIES

Unconstitutional Fiscal PoliciesOn the economic front, Ron Paul demonstrates the catastrophic effects on the American economy of the unconstitutional (unlawful) fiscal policies dictated to the government by the privately-owned (international bankers controlled) "Federal" Reserve since 1950:http://www.globalanalyst.org

"A dollar in 1950 will buy only 12 cents of goods today, 88 percent less than before. Inflation in my adult years increased average prices 1, 000% or more:

"Example 1: A postage stamp in the 1950s cost 3 cents; today’s cost is 41 cents – 1, 266% inflation.

"Example #2: A gallon of 90 Octane gas full-service gasoline cost 18 cents before; today it is $3:10 for self-service – 1,870% inflation.

"Example #3: A house in 1959 cost $14,100; today’s median price is $213, 000 – 1,400% inflation;

"Example #4: A dental crown used to cost $40; today it’s $1,100 – 2,750 % inflation;

"Example #5: An ice cream cone in 1950 cost 5 cents; today it’s $2.50 – 4,900% inflation.

"Example # 6: Monthly government Medicare insurance premiums paid by seniors was $5.30 in 1970; today it’s $93.50 – 1,664% inflation; (and up 70% in the past 5 years)

"Example #7: Several generations ago a person worked 1.4 months per year to pay for government; he now works 5 months.

SEETHING CESSPOOL OF POLITICAL CORRUPTION

Ron Paul
At we draw to the end of 2007, Washington is a seething cesspool of political corruption and intrigue. Our nation is now faced with the devastating results of decades of unbridled socialistic/welfarism, political treachery, and financial chicanery at the highest levels of government. As a result, the perceived value of the once "almighty dollar" is vanishing faster than a morning dew. David Walker, head of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) and thus the nation’s top financial inspector, noted recently that the government is on an "unsustainable path." He stated that our nation is on a "burning platform" of unsustainable policies which, if not immediately dealt with, will have catastrophic results. This, of course, is the result of abandoning lawful (Constitutional, silver and gold) money in the 1960s at the beginning of the welfare state (Johnson’s "Great Society).

A little earlier, Alan Greenspan, then a private citizen, warned against such a nationally-destructive fiscal policy: " The abandonment [of lawful money] made it possible to use the banking system as a means to an unlimited expansion of credit [to finance the welfare state]... The law of supply and demand is not to be conned... In the absence of [lawful money] there is no way to protect savings from confiscation through inflation. There is no safe store of value... The financial policy of the welfare state demands that there is no way for the owners of wealth to protect themselves. This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists’ tirade [against lawful money]. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the hidden confiscation of wealth." Interestingly, Greenspan later – as head of the Fed – wholeheartedly embraced and promoted this "scheme for the confiscation of wealth." As Ayn Rand, one of Greenspan’s mentors, wrote in Atlas Shrugged, "Paper money is mortgage on wealth that does not exist, backed by guns aimed at those who are expected to produce. Paper money is a check drawn by legal looters on an account that is not theirs; upon the virtue of the victims."

Lew Rockwell, president of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, explains that Federal Reserve governors are incapable of telling the truth about inflation for a very simple reason – they’re the ones causing it: "The [privately-owned] Federal Reserve always promises that it’s working to bring down inflation but it never does. Since the Fed came into being, the dollar’s value has plummeted to less than a penny, and even at a 3% inflation rate, prices will tend to double every 25 years... The Fed wants to cover its crimes by appearing more successful at ‘battling inflation.’ What the Fed doesn’t want to talk about is the real cause of inflation: not greedy consumers, avaricious workers, or price-gouging corporations, but the central bank itself, and its power and practice of creating money out of thin air."

Again, Ron Paul is the only candidate willing to address this nation-crippling crisis head on.

MESSAGE GAINING TRACTION

Ron Paul gaining tractionIn the second half of 2007, Ron Paul’s message began to gain traction nationwide. Enthused by his message of freedom, peace and prosperity, thousands of volunteers helped "spread the word" from coat-to-coast. Some who were "computer wise" started their own Ron Paul web pages. These feature the candidate’s speeches, plus clips from presidential debates, and appearances on such programs as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Real Time with Bill Maher. These may be viewed by millions at their convenience. YouTube also features a number of these videos. They are very informative, and well worth visiting. Readers can also visit Ron Paul’s own web site at www. ron paul 2008. org for the latest campaign information.

Results of a Google search for the number of "hits" registered on each candidate’s web sites are very revealing. A recent check revealed that Ron Paul’s web site registered 56 million hits. Hillary Clinton got 6.6 million; Barack Obama 3.3 million; Mit Romney 2.5 million, and Rudy Giuiliani 2.2 million. Says Paul, "If we had an election on the internet, we’d win." Other candidates want to know how the Paul camp finds internet experts and bloggers capable of generating such interest. His answer is simple: "We didn’t. There are no experts. It was the message. The message of freedom is popular. That’s all there is to it."

The Paul campaign is energizing many new voters to register Republican and regenerating disgruntled Republicans who are excited about his candidacy and his support for traditional Republican principles.

Ron PaulIn the third quarter of 2007, the Paul campaign raised just over $5, 000,000 nationwide. Reflecting the growing popularity of his honest message at the grass-roots level, so far in the fourth quarter that amount will be doubled at least. With nearly a month to go, it stands at $10.700,000 well on its way to the targeted $12, 000,000.

As might be expected, Ron Paul’s candidacy is drawing smirking and snide remarks from Establishment pundits who pride themselves on their perceived understanding of political affairs. Their views (such as, "Ron Paul wants to take the nation back to 1776") reflect their almost total ignorance of American history, and Constitutional law. They also reflect the effectiveness of the brainwashing to which they where subjected in government-controlled schools and colleges. Many of these proud ignoramuses are little more than hit men (or women) for the Establishment. Revealingly, they never see fit to attack Ron Paul’s character or his 100% Constitutional record. Both are immaculate!

As one author wrote on another subject, "Those who deem it necessary to resort to smear betray a fundamental weakness and defect in one’s character, an insecurity and a lack of confidence in one’s ability to intelligently defend one’s position. Smear is a weak man’s excuse. It is an asinine and sophomoric form of emotional release, but an extremely poor substitute for rational, reasonable dialogue and debate."

A BIG QUESTION

Ron PaulA big question is, of course, can the Ron Paul campaign overcome the apparently insurmountable odds against his becoming the first truly non-globalist president in more than 70 years? Frankly, his chances appear extremely remote. There is, however, at least one factor that may not altogether rule out the remote possibility of his election: the almost incomprehensible political and financial depravity reigning supreme in D.C., the District of Corruption. The Bush/ Cheney administration, which has been in open rebellion against the Constitution since 9/11 (their phony "war on Terror," the draconian "Patriot Act," "Homeland Security" legislation, illegal wiretapping, massive deficits, and multiple other contemptuous acts of defiance against Constitutional law). These have served to further undermine any credibility the so-called Republican Party may have had in recent years. Controlled by Trotskyites masquerading as neo-conservatives, the present gang has abandoned traditional Republican principles and is leading the nation down the road to destruction.

Christopher Story, the London-based Editor of various publications including www.worldreports. org, has been reporting since 2005 on the ongoing Wantagate financial crisis involving top American government officials and leading New York banks: "The endless recycled lies from every component of this duplicitous U.S. Federal government, including the U.S. Treasury, the Federal Reserve, and the State Department are now common knowledge internationally, with the Full Faith and Credit of the United States having been destroyed as a consequence. Nothing that any branch of the United States Federal Government undertakes can ever be relied upon. No word from any official source can be trusted... It (represents) the biggest financial corruption crisis in world history" (www.worldreports. org 11/21/07).

If the gory details of all this sordid political depravity begin to "break" nationally over the next few months, the resultant scandal could far outweigh Watergate, Irangate, and the various Clinton scandals rolled into one. The nation will be shaken to its foundations. Many heads will roll at the highest levels of government and finance.

[It may be significant that several prominent Republicans (such as Trent Lott, Chuck Hagel, and Dennis Hastert) have decided to "retire" before the end of their terms. Is it possible they are aware that major scandal may break shortly and that if they remained on board and were indicted, they would lose their huge pensions and other perks? If so, its obviously better to get out first, and avoid that latter possibility.

Some may have their sights set on becoming highly paid lobbyists after retiring. As most will be leaving by the end of this year, they will thus be able to become lobbyists after just one year, instead of waiting two years as is mandated in a new law that goes into effect on January 1, 20098.]

"SIN BY SILENCE MAKES COWARDS OF MEN"

Ron PaulIn the meantime, as Abraham Lincoln so rightly stated, "Sin by silence makes cowards of men." We must do everything in our power to spread the truth – politically, financially, and spiritually. We must sow the seeds of knowledge and understanding – of truth and integrity. These are like deadly stakes driven into the heart of the draconian monster.

The pitiful scampaigns of all the leading candidates (most of whom know what is going on, but have neither the honor nor courage to stand up and be counted) will be blown out of the water. They will be exposed as guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors, traitors to the Constitution to which they falsely swore allegiance.

Under this scenario, the 100% constitutionally-based Ron Paul message of integrity, freedom, peace and prosperity could erupt and sweep the nation like a prairie fire. As Thomas Jefferson declared, such a "revolution" is needed regularly to ensure both the security and prosperity of the United States. Will the "Ron Paul Revolution" result in such much-needed changes? Frankly, the American Republic is currently in the emergency room on life support. Along with its inspired Constitution and Bill of Rights, it could die at any moment.

Will Dr. Ron Paul and his "revolution" grant us a temporary reprieve and be instrumental in extending its fragile life a few more years? Only time will tell.
