Saddam Hussein: A Pawn In The GameBy Des Griffin Perhaps they should take notice of a statement made by Abraham Lincoln when commenting on a political conspiracy of his time: "When we see a lot of framed timbers, different portions of which have been gotten out at different times and places, and by different workmen ... and when we see those timbers jointed together, and see they exactly make the frame of a house or a mill ... in such a case we find it impossible not to believe that ... all understood one another from the beginning, and all worked upon a common plan, drawn up before the first blow was struck" (Abraham Lincoln, quoted in Empire of 'The City' by E.C. Knuth, p.46). Have you, the reader of Midnight Messenger, had your eyes and ears open in recent years ... or days? Domestically and internationally, have you not witnessed "a lot of framed timbers" gradually coming together in "different times and places" that "exactly make the frame" of a global concentration camp? Euphemistically, it's known as the New World Order. Have you realized that all these things may be occurring as the result of a "common plan drawn up before the first blow was struck"? If not, you need to! Political reality 101 is that things don't just "happen." They are caused. As Franklin Roosevelt stated on one occasion,
"In politics there are no accidents. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." In the world of politics there are
no "accidents." The late Gary Allen put it succinctly, "If we were dealing with the law of averages, half the events
affecting our nation's well-meaning should be good for America. If we were dealing with mere incompetence, our leaders
should occasionally make a mistake in our favor. We are not dealing with incompetence or stupidity, but with planning
and brilliance" (None Dare Call It Conspiracy, by Gary Allen, p.8). As nineteenth-century British prime minister,
Benjamin Disraeli, wrote, "You see ... the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by
those who are not behind the scenes" (Coningsby, p.233). BUSH'S PRIVATE ARMY?As we go to press with this issue of Midnight Messenger, President Bush appears on the verge of launching the full fury of America's armed forces against a basically defenseless nation whose population has been suffered terribly over the last decade from various sanctions imposed by the United Nations. As a result of these sanctions, over 500,000 Iraqi children (plus about as many men and women) have died (Anthony Arnove, Iraq Under Siege, 2000, Southend Press, p.67 ). Against the strong advice of most in the international community, Bush's mind is fixed immovably on obliterating and taking over a sovereign nation that has never posed any threat to the United States. Many view Bush and his friends as using the American armed forces as their own private army to take control of the immensely rich Middle East; this being primarily for the benefit of a small group of occultic globalists so that they can establish what is so aptly described by Christopher Story as "The New Underworld Order" in a forthcoming book. Sadam Hussein is merely a pawn in their nefarious game of international politics. These people have no compunctions about shackling the already grossly overburdened American people with the
staggering cost of fighting their private war, and then rebuilding Iraq to their own liking and for their own benefit. That,
of course, is on top of the projected $400,000,000,000 (for public consumption purposes only) federal deficit for this
fiscal year. This type of fiscal insanity could double the National Debt in just a few years. SETTING THE SCENE The scene for Bush War II in the Persian Gulf was set twelve years ago -- at the conclusion of Bush War I. As readers
will remember from previous articles, then-president George Walker Bush (through April Glaspie, his ambassador to
Iraq) had virtually given Saddam Hussein permission to invade neighboring Kuwait. Saddam fell for the bait and sent his
troops pouring over the Kuwaiti border. It is obvious that Bush and his advisers had a special agenda. They were
determined to "create a condition" in the Middle East -- one that would advance the cause of their beloved and long-planned New World Order. In this context, it is interesting to note that Foreign Affairs, the official organ of the Council
on Foreign Relations (America's invisible government) had just previously run an article by Barry Rubin, Senior Fellow
at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. It was titled, "Reshaping the Middle East."
The whole thing was carefully orchestrated. As FDR would have said, it happened because it was planned that way! What happened next in the White House is extremely revealing. At a Cabinet meeting just after the invasion, Secretary of State James "Baker had pressed Bush to allow him to go to Baghdad to meet Saddam himself [Baker said he was determined to negotiate], but the president ... refused to authorize the mission... "Next Bush and Scowcroft, almost together, jumped on Powell and Baker. 'Don't you realize that if he [Saddam Hussein] pulls out [of Kuwait], it will be impossible for us to stay?,' Scowcroft asked. Bush nodded in agreement as Scowcroft spoke. The massive U.S. force, based mostly in Saudi Arabia, could not remain in the region indefinitely.... A diplomatic victory could wind up a huge strategic loss... Looking squarely at his advisers, the President said plainly, 'We have to have a war.' His words hung in the air as heavily as any he had ever spoken" (Shadow: Five Presidents and the Legacy of Watergate, by Bob Woodward, Simons and Schuster, 1999, p.185). But of course! The immediate aim was to "reshape the Middle East." This basic reality is further substantiated by a report titled "Rebuilding America's Defenses," published in 2000 by The Project for the New American Century. Months before George W. Bush was elected president, the report stated that "the United States has for decades sought to play a more permanent role in Gulf regional security. While the unresolved conflict with Iraq provides [present tense] the immediate justification, the need for a substantial American force presence in the Gulf transcends the issue of the regime of Saddam Hussein... Further, the process ... is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event -- like a new Pearl Harbor." That necessary "catastrophic and catalyzing event" took place the following year, when the World Trade Center was destroyed, and the Pentagon attacked. Six days after this "catastrophic and catalyzing event," President Bush signed a 2 1/2 page document marked "Top Secret." This "outlined a plan for going to war in Afghanistan as part of a global campaign against terrorism. "Almost as a footnote, the document also directed the Pentagon to begin planning military options for an invasion of Iraq" (Glenn Kessler, The Washington Post, 1/12/02). "Catastrophic and catalyzing events" come in handy sometimes, don't they? The manufactured excuse for removing Saddam Hussein and vastly expanding American influence in the Middle East
now fell into place. Thus, yet again, "We have to have a war." DESPERATE FOR WARAs Congressman James Moran Jr. (D-Va) stated, "If it were not for the strong support of the Jewish community for this war, we would not be doing this... [Jewish leaders] are influential enough that they could change the direction of where this is going and I think they should." Ari Fleischer, President Bush's Jewish Press Secretary said that expressing such truths was "shocking ... wrong ... inappropriate." Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle stated that Moran's comments were "totally out of line." Senator George Allen, a chairman of the Republican Senatorial Committee, declared that revealing these facts of life was "deplorable and offensive not just to Jewish Americans but to all Americans" (The Oregonian, March 12). As an Haaretz (Israel) article stated so clearly, the White House and the Senate are now "in our hands" (New York Times, 27 May, 1996). Although the United States provides him with most of the tanks, helicopters, and money with which preserve what Jewish writer Jack Bernstein called "racist Marxist Israel," Sharon, the infamous "Butcher of Beirut" and the perpetrator of many other atrocities against mankind, wants his magnanimous American benefactors to do this dirty work for him. How's that for chutzpah!? BUT WHAT IF...?

But wait! That's not all. Our wonderful leaders in Washington (and Tel Aviv!) are not slacking off in their herculean efforts on our behalf. As our devoted servants and protectors, they have formulated another even more sinister document in preparation for another "catastrophic and catalyzing event" that is undoubtedly in various degrees of preparation.
When that dread scenario explodes on the American scene, as it inevitably will in one form or another, our "honorable" leaders in Washington will immediately stress the "obvious need" for even sterner measures to fight "the war on terrorism." They, of course -- in their deep concern for our future well-being -- will instantly produce a new plan of action designed specifically for that purpose. As a matter of fact, the "confidential" draft of their Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003 has already been "leaked" by someone on the inside who is disturbed at its draconian nature. On page 3 you can read about the "security measures" that will be implemented following the next "catastrophic and catalyzing event." The straitjackets are ready. The shackles are waiting in the wings!
Aren't our leaders (who have solemnly sworn to defend our nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic) wonderful for having been so far sighted?
Another important question: What happens if our regular army and most of our National Guard are deployed and bogged down in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Balkans, Afghanistan, Germany, Japan, and a multitude of other strategic areas around the globe? Who will guard and protect the United States?
The probable solution to that dilemma was brought ominously into focus in a statement made by Henry Kissinger at the Bilderberg meeting in Evian-les-Bains, France, in 1991 as riots were taking place in Los Angeles. "Many Americans would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order: tomorrow they will be grateful. This is especially true if they were told there were some outside threat ... whether real or promulgated, that threatens our very existence. It is then that all people of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the world government."
Thanks, Henry, for letting us peasants in on what is what is planned for our future!
Now, read the words of David Rockefeller at the same meeting of the world's elite: "We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for over forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the light of publicity during those years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite [the Illuminated Ones!] and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.
Remember the words of Abraham Lincoln quoted at the beginning of this article: "When we see a lot of framed timbers, different portions of which have been gotten out at different times and places, and by different workmen ... and when we see those timbers jointed together, and see they exactly make the frame of a house or a mill ... in such a case we find it impossible not to believe that ... all understood one another from the beginning, and all worked upon a common plan, drawn up before the first blow was struck."
In these "perilous days" of the early third millennium, we need to understand the true nature of our problems. Across the board, those problems are spiritual, not political: "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness ... against spiritual wickedness [or wicked spirits] in high places" (Ephesians 6:12). Your Bible reveals that Satan has transformed himself into an "angel of light" and has "deceived the whole world" (II Corinthians 11:14; Revelation 12:9).
As documented in Fourth Reich of the Rich and Descent Into Slavery?, the plan to create a "New World Order" is Luciferian (or Satanic) in nature. It comes from the pit of hell. Scripture indicates that when this plot appears almost at the point of total success the nations of the world -- with "one mind" -- will "give their power and strength" to this diabolic monstrosity in hopes of bringing about lasting world peace (Revelation 17:13). When that point is reached, Satan will make his play to knock the Eternal, Creator God off his throne and take over the universe. "These shall make war with the Lamb [Jesus Christ, John 1:29,36; I Peter 1:19], and the Lamb shall overcome them FOR HE IS (present tense) Lord of lords, and King of kings, and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful" (Revelation 17:14). Exit the New World Order!
"He that testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus" (Revelation 22:20).
